A New Adventure in Pet Care: Our Journey with Barney the Basset Hound
After 40 years with the same company, life threw a curveball I never saw coming. Redundancy pushed me to re-evaluate my path, and due to health reasons, I decided that a desk-based job was no longer the right fit for me. It was time for a new adventure, one that combined my love for animals with my desire to bring joy and care into the lives of our furry & feathered friends.
My journey with pets has always been heartfelt. I have always treated animals as beloved family members, and over the years, I had the pleasure of raising two wonderful German Shepherds. Sadly, we lost them, but then Barney the Basset Hound arrived in 2019 and filled our home with his comical character. Barney is a joy to be around, always eager to be out and about, meeting new people and dogs. He is quite the socialite!
I had always dreamed of having a Basset Hound, but until I did my research before getting Barney, I didn't realize how different they could be from other dogs. The first year was certainly a learning curve, but now, at six years old, our Mr B has settled into our lives perfectly. We are now slaves to his needs! It is often said within the Basset community that we are not owners but slaves to these lovable hounds.
Inspired by Barney and my deep love for animals, I decided to start my own pet supplies business. Our mission is to provide high-quality products that cater to the unique needs of our little companions. From comfortable bedding to engaging toys, every item in our store is carefully selected to ensure the well-being and happiness of your pets.
In addition to our curated selection of products, we are excited to offer homemade biscuits and muffins for the dog, cat, and small animal community. These treats are made with love and care, and of course, Barney is my official tester along with some of his friends, for the doggy options.
